Cavas La Capilla was conceived under the "boutique winery" concept, as a nod to its exclusivity and excellent craftsmanship. Their philosophy is to maintain the vineyard’s characteristics, in the most natural way possible, when transferring the grapes to the fermentation container. For this reason, they’ve implemented quality technology to ensure their production process is pristine. They’ve managed to succeed in their creations by keeping a pulse on every step of the vinification.
Tupungato region, in the Uco Valley, is a place that offers outstanding conditions for the production of grapes to create wines of the highest quality. It offers unique conditions for Malbec, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is also suitable for white wine varieties such as Torrontés, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin, and Pinot Noire of outstanding winemaking quality. They’re used either for still wines or as a base for sparkling wines.
Ugarteche, in the Department of Lujan de Cuyo, prime Argentine Malbec territory. The production in this vineyard is about 70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
