WINE DESCRIPTORS

ABOUT THE WINERY: LUCEA
Winery in which it resides in its landscapes with curious geological formations of reddish colours. The rocky soils make up a natural challenge that requires that each portion of soil be specially studied and, then, each planting of vines is carried out by hand. Poor alluvial soils, sunny mornings and warm afternoons in the summer months that allow long maturation periods and a marked temperature range make for an exceptional terroir. Its vineyards are worked day by day creating stories that are reflected in the harvests, brands that influence the quality of its grapes and from which careful and perfect wines are born.
CRITIC'S NOTES
Concentrated berry and plum aromas are potent. In the mouth, this blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cab Franc is massive but also abrasive and narrowing due to fierce tannins. Giant raspberry and blackberry flavors include chocolate and coffee notes. It settles on the finish but remains scratchy out the back door.
