OUR SOMELIER REVIEW
This wine is a gem in the portfolio! Great, great, great Malbec!
This 2013 Malbec has such much to offer, the color is outstanding, so deep and vivid.
The nose is like a massive bouquet, this wine is so mature with dry flowers, spices, prune, dry blackberry, kirsh, game, leather, and I can go on forever…haha!
I couldn’t take it anymore and took a sip. The flavors were repeated in my palate, so savory, full body and long. But the tannins are fresh and friendly.
Like all good malbecs, it’s screaming meat! But please not whatever kind, find a good t-bone steak with fat (forget the diet for a day!) And make some mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese and walnuts, bake beets with spices in the oven, and set a nice table. You deserve it!
CRITIC'S NOTES
Some ripe red and dark berries on offer here with a fresh palate that has succulent, juicy and vibrant style. Medium body. Drink now.
